Sea Kayaking

Sea kayaking offers a great combination of challenge, exercise and relaxation. It is an ideal way to see some of the dramatic coastline of Southern Spain, and its amazing wildlife environment up close. It is relatively easy to master kayaking, with no previous experience necessary.

This activity is suitable for all ages and is a great way for the families and groups to do something exciting and different together. Kayaks may be hired for use by the hour or, you may choose to go on the fantasic guided sea kayaking trip. Hourly hire is available daily but the sea kayaking takes place on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday only. A full briefing will be given whether just hiring the kayak or as part of a guided excursion.

All trips are fully supervised with experienced guides, and last around 4 hours. Modern single and double-seated kayaks are used. These are very stable and comfortable, with fitted back rests, making them easy and safe to control. You can feel totally safe with a young child at the front, and don’t need to worry about a capsize drill before being allowed to kayak.

Starting from the beach you will be guided along the cliff-lined coast, with caves to explore and a fantastic fresh water waterfall to kayak under.

Although a great family activity, please be aware that kayaking can be physical, and despite the fantastic Andalucian climate, this activity is dependent upon weather and sea conditions.
